The appeal of writing in codes, metaphors or a hidden language is similar to writing in a language you don’t know so well. Since your mind isn’t fluent with the symbols , the shapes or the letters that form the words, the language becomes a more mystical and abstract form of expression.

When you don’t consciously know the meaning of the symbols but you know them intuitively, then the forming of the symbols become abstract and more intense feelings can be explored in this way. This is how my version of Hieroglyphics started.

I’m exploring the visual language I’ve been creating over the past 4 years and depicting it in relation to the ancient form of communication.  (2022)
